Heel Pad Syndrome Symptoms

The symptoms appear in Heel Pad syndrome are as follows:

  • Pain in the heel is a common symptom of heel pad syndrome. The pain symptom of the heel pad syndrome may restrict to one side.
  • Mild to severe swelling can occur at the heel in heel pad syndrome
  • The nature of the pain is deep and dull ache, usually feels in the middle of the heel.
  • Heel pad syndrome affected individuals have difficulty in placing the feet on the surface
  • In Heel pad syndrome, the affected individuals feel pain at the lateral part of the feet during standing, walking, running or jumping.
  • In Heel pad syndrome, bottom of the heel has nonstop pain and tenderness
  • Heel pad syndrome affected individuals have difficulty to wear high heel footwear.
  • Palpation and tenderness present in the heel
  • Pressing with thumb on affected heel trigger pain syndrome
  • Difficulty to walk in barefoot on the hard surface including a wooden floor, concrete floor, ceramic tiles. Forcefully walking on the hard surface aggravate the pain symptom in Heel Pad Syndrome.
