Deepti Talra, Founder – Lumino Cielo
Deepti is the Founder and CEO of Lumino Cielo. She founded this company with a vision to help make living pain free a reality for millions with the use of very simple, innovative healthcare products and services. Currently, Lumino Cielo focuses on helping people with painful problems like Plantar Fascitis, varicose veins, knee pain, and other worry filled conditions like arthritis. Her focus on these areas is because millions of people suffer from these conditions and are living with these chronic problems. These problems impact not only the sufferer’s quality of life but also of the loved ones around the patient.
Before founding Lumino Cielo, Deepti has successfully operated i3Care, a startup focused on connecting expecting mothers and new mothers to doulas, registered nurses and mid-wives. Before that, her career spanned over 15 years in prestigious corporate roles with American Express’s Global Commercial Card and Merchant Services divisions out of New York City, and Trilogy Software Group’s Financial Services vertical as a Senior management consultant.
She has an MBA with distinction from Columbia Business School, a MS from Vanderbilt University and a B.Tech from Delhi College of Engineering. She is an active participant in funding innovation and entrepreneurship through the Columbia’s Morningside Angels network.
